Concept: Patreon-supported webcomic whose basic reward is "see today's comic tomorrow" – i.e., an apparently useless joke reward that grants access to a series of Patreon posts which update one day behind the public-facing site's update schedule.

The non-obvious twist is that the Patreon version of each page takes place one day later in-universe as well; at first this is reflected by small details, e.g., a timestamped video feed that's visible in the background being dated 24 hours later, but the differences soon become more pronounced due to events not lining up in quite the same way.

It's ultimately revealed that the Patreon comics take place in an alternative universe in which the story's inciting incident occurred 24 hours later than it did in the prime timeline. This culminates in an ending where, in the prime timeline, the main characters are able to prevent a world-altering catastrophe, albeit at great personal cost, while in the alternative timeline, they're exactly one day too late.

Since Lamb doesn't know their name because of the crown, Leshy gives them a nickname.

Marigold

He likes their wool and he loved them very much.

Their Berserker Fleece is decorated with the flowers from Darkwoods.

Marigold is ruthless on the battlefield, and yet the sweetest flower in their cult. They take care well of their followers, always smiling, dancing.

When Narinder asked them at the Gateways to return his crown they resisted, not for their own selfish desire, but to protect their new found family.

It was not easy to forgive the bishops for their actions. And yet, the past cannot be changed. Leshy was the first to be freed from purgatory and the one who needed the most care, since he refused to let the other followers touch him, and his siblings weren't with him yet. Lamb would treat his wounds, change his bandages and show him around the cult.

Once they returned Heket they managed to pick up their pace a little, since the former bishops would take care of each other and Lamb was less required to tend to them.

Over time Leshy notices how he misses the close contact with Lamb, but is unsure about his feelings. They are so kind to him, always making sure he's comfortable, and when they're gone he feels like something is missing.

He loves the flowers from Darkwoods, they remind him of his home. Lamb notices this and decides to put them on their fleece, which surrounds them with a sweet smell of flowers, dirt and death, which draws the worm in.

This is why fat shaming can have tragic consequences.

If this sort of weight-based medical bias happens to any of y'all, politely tell the doctor (during your visit) that you want them to write in your file that they are refusing ordering tests for you because of your current weight. This usually causes them to order the test anyways because they do NOT want a malpractice suit. Remember: You want to make a paper trail to hold them accountable.

I feel like we need to tell redditors that we respect artists here and want their stuff all credited as much as you can. Also don't repost stuff unless you explicitly have permission to

melodiousmel

I’m curious why you should ask before reblog if you’re rebloging the artists post. Wouldn’t that be able to be sourced back to them?

lesbianralzarek

reposting and reblogging are different. reposting is when you save/copy the contents of a post (either from tumblr or another site) and put it into a new one on your own blog (which would then be under your name and unlinked from the original op). reblogging is basically the exact opposite when it comes to spreading an artist's work, as it comes with their info naturally attached and they can see what people are saying about it. pipebomb was saying you shouldnt repost without permission
